Logan wanted a companion. A dog, a cat, possibly even some fish or a bird. Something, anything would be nice. He had nobody at his flat, except for that first time Ashley dropped off his pizza and she stayed over. That had been it for quite a long time. So he threw on jeans and a jacket and left his house to go to the mall. For a pet.
He walked in, his hands in his pockets looking around for the store he wanted. When he found it, he smiled and walked in slowly, watching all of the animals they had in there. Dogs, cats, birds, fish, snakes, turtles, bunnies, god they had everything! But which one did he want..?

Taylor was sat on the floor by the puppy enclosure. She had been wanting to get a pet, of some sort, for quite some time now. She just had to decide what she wanted now. She poked her finger through the wiring, letting the tiny puppies sniff and lick her finger. She smiled as she watched them. She barely even noticed another guy walk into the pet shop until the puppies started getting more excited. She turned around to see a guy walk in. She smiled at him before turning her attention back to the puppies. She glanced over to the next enclosure, which had more puppies in it and beside that one was the current home to some kittens. More animals were placed further back in the store, although the puppies and kittens seemed to be the main attraction.

There was a girl on the floor by the puppies, and she smiled at him when he walked in. It looked like she liked them, and it looked like they liked her. So he walked over to her and knelt down beside her and the puppies. ''They seem to like you,'' Logan said lightly, poking one of his own fingers through and laughing when the tiny dogs licked his finger. ''I'm Logan Walker.'' He told her, turning his gaze to the girl with a soft smile.
''I wanted a kitten.. but God, these dogs are adorable.'' He said with another laugh as a different puppy walked up to him and pawed at his fingers. ''.. Are you going to get one?'' Logan asked her, watching the puppies lick at her fingers as well.

She turned to face Logan as he knelt beside her. Watching him, she smiled. "Taylor Kent" she replied as she turned her gaze back to the puppies. She still had no idea what to choose, all the animals in here were different in their own way. "I'd take them all home if I could" she said with a soft laugh. She rubbed one of the tiny puppies heads through the wires as she watched them. They were all so playful and lively. It was amazing how many new faces they must see each day yet not finding a home. She felt sorry for them in a way, being in cages like that for the whole day and night.

''That's a pretty name, Taylor.'' He smiled at her for a second before turning back to the puppies, one in particular stealing his heart. It was a golden puppy, looking like he was rambunctious and happy, playing with all the other puppies. The odd part of it was it's eyes- one was blue, the other brown. And Logan loved oddities like that. ''Hmm, I'll take one if you do.'' He said with a grin, kissing to the puppy to get it to come over. When it did, Logan smiled and softly petted it's head. ''I think I like this one most..'' He pushed himself up and leaned over the wiring, picking up the puppy and placing it down on the ground between him and Taylor, watching it sniff around. All he could hope was that the dog stayed here and that he wouldn't get into trouble for it.

"Thanks" she said with a smile as she watched Logan pick up a puppy, placing it between them. The puppy was adorable, with its odd coloured eyes. She laughed softly as she watched the little puppy. She looked over to the staff who were in the store at the moment. They didn't even notice Logan take the puppy out, hopefully they wouldn't get in trouble. "Aww" she said as she have the puppy a pat, running her hand gently over its soft silky coat. A small puppy near the back happened to catch her eye. A white puppy, a little bit bigger than the rest of the puppies in there. It looked like a German Shepherd but she thought they were only black and tan. She read the list of the different breeds of puppies in that enclosure. White German Shepherd the tag read. She smiled as she looked back over to the puppy. She called it over. The puppy looked confused but walked over to her anyway. She stood up, reaching in she grabbed the puppy and put it beside the other one outside the enclosure. She watched the German Shepherd puppy sniff the other puppy beside it. "I think I like this one" she said to Logan, looking over to him.

Logan watched her call to a puppy in the enclosure, a big white one that looked like a Shepherd. He grinned as she brought it over and out, and watching the puppies sniff each other. ''It's cute, it looks like a Shepherd..'' He trailed off, watching the two puppies again. ''Hmm.'' Logan tipped his head slightly. ''Mine's a girl.'' His sentence faded again as he started thinking of names. What'd she look like? Oh, he knew he should have thought of names beforehand. But maybe when she settled in at his flat she'd simply name herself?
''Now we need stuff. Collars, food, toys.. all that wonderful stuff.'' He said with a grin, standing up then leaning over to the pick up the puppy, who proceeded to lick the side of Logan's face. ''Aww.'' Logan held her in both arms and looked around. ''Should we leave them in the pen, take them with us or ask someone to hold them for us? Otherwise someone else could take them if we just let them stay here..''

Taylor smiled "Yeah, white Shepherd or something.." she said sort of trailing off. Taking a closer look at the white puppy, you could tell it wasn't a pure bred but that didn't really matter. "Mine's a girl too, whats the odds?" she replied with a soft laugh. She had no idea what to name her. She stood up, bending over to pick up her puppy, who had a fair bit of weight to her. "I don't think anyone is going to take them but I won't take any chances, we'll get someone to hold them?" she said as she looked around the store, a grin on her face. The store was pretty much empty, besides themselves and the people who worked there. She walked over to the counter where an older man stood behind the counter. Smiling, she waited for Logan to follow.
